What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

We have learnt how to use editing equipment, this being, final cut pro to a standard that has allowed us develop our preliminary task an our thriller opening. Garage band was used to some extent to create the music, however the music was mainly from a royalty free music source freeplaymusic.com We used Motion to create inter-titles in our production so that it looked professional and effective.

There are several strenghts and weaknesses in terms of the camera. One of the issues we faced was trying to track the characters. We didn't have the proper equipment in order to do this, so we had to be very careful and steady whilst holding the camera. On the other hand the camera was very good to help create a sense of voyeurism, as it was able to be hand held whilst also working perfectly with the tripod, creating professional looking shots.

One of the problems we faced was filming in the light. As we felt that it did not give the best vibe off for our opening as it didn't seem 'scary' enough, this is why we decided to edit it too black and white.
